Afterword! – Mon 16th June : Report from a Shell office somewhere in Aberdeen!
Can’t believe I’m back at work after such a
momentous two weeks away. I’ve just been told by
Dot that this week is “Get on your Bike Week”!!
Think I would have a mutiny on my hands at home,
if I suggested anything!! Poor Louise has not
quite finished yet, as she has to get a train to
Glasgow to pick up our car, then drive south to
Derbyshire tomorrow to pick up our dogs from her
parents. I just have the small matter of about 600
emails to catch up on, but if, I can stay awake
long enough tonight, I might at last be able to
catch up with the blog.
[This is JC, finally (??) signing over and
out!!]

Well done!
Better late than never! Referring to my
congratulations, of course, not your arrival at
John O'Groats. I think you did fantastically, all
of you. Have you planned your next trip yet?

Congratulations!
Wow! What a great achievement you've all done!
You can tell your adventurous saga to your
future grandchildren! Re planning your next
cycle trip, how about cycling all the way round
the coast of mainland UK? Mags & Mike xxxx

Well Done!
We are very proud of you all in what you have
achieved for Deafblind Scotland. It was an
amazing journey, it wouldn't have been possible
if it wasn't for all your grit, determination and
endurance to get to JOG. You will be able to
relay the story to your grandbairns in years to
come. Enjoy your well-earned rest, any chance of
another fundraising trek?! after all you all are
experts! Congratulations! Kath + Rob xx

End of the road.
Yesterday was the 1st day that Robert didn't get
his leg over...the tandem! Couldn't resist that
one. Why shouldn't he, after all it's National
Bike week I'm told.

Absolutely delighted!
I've enjoyed reading this blog and going to three different
parties at Honiton, Pershore and Warburton to follow the
achievements of the tandem party! Have enjoyed socialising
meeting new and old friends, and take my hat off to you all for
doing such a worthwhile task to raise funds for Deafblind
Scotland. Congratulations to you all! Am looking forward to
reading of the next planned cycle ride soon Bob & Lou! lots of
love & hugs xx
